Philips is releasing its Philips Clinical Review Display, a medical grade monitor suitable for diagnostic purposes. Available with a 24″ screen and an IPS panel, or 27″ with an AMVA panel, the display can produce DICOM part 14 compatible grayscale images. Because DICOM settings are often different from those used for non-diagnostic tasks, the monitor features a Clinical D-image function that allows for quick switching into and out of DICOM mode.
