Monocrom produces a range of red and near infrared Laser Diode Modules with output powers in the range of 1mW to 3W. Typical wavelengths range from 405nm to 1550nm, enabling the modules to cover a wide field of applications including industrial and medical applications, imaging and laser lighting.

The standard housing types available for Monocrom laser diode modules include collimated/focused, focusable, modulatable, connectorised modules, water proof laser diode modules and TEC cooled and Thermal Stabilised versions.

Monocrom can also design and manufacture special OEM laser diode modules adapted to customer's needs, both in small and large volume series.

Monocrom has developed innovative clamp mounting technology, used in the company’s laser diode bar assemblies to overcome problems associated with high power laser bar mounting. Monocrom’s proprietary "free solder" technology avoids the smile effect and extends the useful lifetime of the products, and the use of macro-channels in the cooling system reduces maintenance problems and cost.
