The CLA 5 is a new, improved version of the automatic flash and fire point testing device, CLA 4, and is specifically designed for viscous materials with a flash-point ranging from +79°C to +400°C.
The device is used to identify the dangers of combustible materials in accordance to safety and shipping regulations and international standards such as ASTM D 92. The flash-point and fire-point test method is generally used to determine the tendency of a test sample to form a combustible mixture with air. This automatic device features contemporary electronics including a 5.7" color graphics display, several USB interfaces and jog-shuttle control. The firmware allows intuitive operation and also advanced data administration and management of multiple languages.
