Codman Neuro, a part of J&J, is releasing two new guiding catheters, the ENVOY DA XB Distal Access Guiding Catheter and the 7F ENVOY Guiding Catheter. Intended for neurovascular procedures, the devices build on the existing line of ENVOY devices, helping reach difficult locations and delivering instruments to the treatment site.

The ENVOY DA XB provides distal catheter positioning in tortuous anatomy, thanks to a flexible segment, an upgrade over the ENVOY Guiding Catheter already out on the market. It’s designed with braided construction along the entire length of the device and features 10cm of hydrophilic coating on the distal end and a soft tip. The tip’s recessed metal marker and BRITE TIP technology make the device readily visible under fluoroscopy.

The 7F Envoy is the largest diameter guiding catheter offered by Codman Neuro. It features stainless steel hybrid braid technology and soft BRITE TIP distal end.
