ReFlow Medical’s Wingman35 and speX Devices Help Cross Difficult Lesions

ReFlow Medical, a San Clemente, California firm, received the CE Mark for and has announced that its Wingman35 Crossing Catheter and speX Shapeable Support Catheter have been used for the first time in human patients. The devices are used together to cross lesions in the peripheral vasculature.

The Wingman35 offers physicians the option to use any .035″ guidewire they prefer, while the speX’s tip can be bent, and reshaped repeatedly as required during a procedure, to stay stiff in a preferred configuration. This allows precise access and targeting of the lesion along the direction of the vessel it is clogging.
