Double Black Imaging Launches MRI-Safe Display

Double Black Imaging (Westminster, CO) is launching a new MRI Safe display at the RSNA show currently underway in Chicago. The DBI24-MRSafe is a 24-inch 2.3 mega-pixel color LED backlit display that is purposed to be used in the MRI suite. It has lag-free output and no interference with the scanner even when positioned at the exit of the bore.

Other specifications of the display include high brightness of 1000 cd/m2 that should help in well lit MRI suites, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and spacial uniformity of 2% over the central 75%. Furthermore, the display has dual DVI inputs and automatic backlight compensation.
