About Croslite^™ Ag+ Material

Croslite^™ Ag+ is formulated with 1800 parts per million of silver crystals in the Croslite^™. Independent laboratories performed microbial tests to determine the concentration at which the presence of silver was effective in killing various microorganisms. The test results showed that a concentration of 1800 parts per million produces a reliable kill rate.

Each new batch of Croslite^™ Ag+ material is independently tested to verify this kill rate. And independent laboratory results show that effective concentration of silver ions lasts for at least one year.

Three factors accelerate the release of silver ions: heat, moisture and salt concentration. In other words, the hotter and sweatier the feet become, the more silver ions are released to fight the increased presence of microorganisms that can cause odors and other problems.

The protective toe cap reduces the likelihood of injury to feet when accidental stubbing occurs without the addition of excessive bulk. The superior-soft footbed provides a gentle environment for sensitive feet, while the roomy toe box allows for use of a medical sock (like the Orthocloud Sock) without creating any tightness of pressure points on the foot.
