Cadi Scientific - SmartSense-800 Wireless Integrated Sensing System

Advanced Design

The advanced design and open access of the patient table makes the Opus II ideal for a variety of procedures.  The radiolucent table top supports up to 227 kg (500 lbs.) and provides zero bladder cut-off allowing imaging to the end of the table.  The shortest table top in the industry makes the Opus II ideal for pediatric patients.

  • Isocentric tilting eliminates movements between the doctor and patient
  • Lightweight table extensions
  • Lowest table height
  • Table position memory
  • Trendelenburg movement

Imaging

  • X-ray moves longitudinally and laterally
  • Three fluoro modes: pulse fluoro, high-level pulse fluoro, and spot provide high quality images
  • Easy set-up
  • Automated protocols
  • Zero bladder cut-off ideal for brachytherapy
  • Images displayed on flat-panel monitors
  • Pulse fluoro technology for dose reduction for patient and staff
  • Optional bucky mode uses 14" x 17" film cassettes

UIMS, Urology Information Management System
UIMS is a premium urology based system which is PACS ready and can be integrated into any hospital or clinic. The system offers comprehensive DICOM functions and supports multi-modality images. The graphical user interface allows direct interaction with all functions, including image and data management. The layout is easy to use, requires minimal training and is designed to streamline workflow. Patient data can be entered quickly and retrieved at any time using simple search functions. Predefined protocols make set-up quick, easy and error free.

  • DICOM capabilities include print, store, query/retrieve, Worklist Management
  • Support multi-modality images including CT, MR and ultrasound
  • Images are displayed on LCD flat panel monitors

Enhanced Safety

The unique design of the Opus II enhances safety for both the patient and the staff. Unlike other systems, the imaging system moves around the patient rather than moving the patient into the imaging area. This reduces the risk of pinching for the patient and aids in controlling infections which can be caused by fluids or bacteria caught in a moving table top. Potential injuries are also reduced with the radiolucent table extensions on the Opus II which are lightweight and easily exchangeable. In addition, with the lowest table height in the industry it is easy to load patients onto the table.
