X-Ray Localization

The integrated X-ray localization system ensures exact positioning and easy operation on the Dornier Lithotripter S II. The target object is adjusted in two projection directions, while the view to the focus area is maintained, even for all intermediary positions. Based on the X-ray of the two projection directions, the computer controlled automatic positioning automatically adjusts the table position to ensure the stone is in the focal zone. This automatic positioning, combined with the pulsed fluoroscopy, leads to a reduced dose of radiation to the patient.
