VectorVision® sky

As part of BrainSUITE iCT, the ceiling-mounted VectorVision® sky with fibre optics wiring is the central control terminal for the surgeon. It is also available as VectorVision sky Vario combining two ceiling mounted OR-lights with our standard VectorVision sky system.

This solution provides maximum efficiency in space usage and site planning. The Automatic Image Registration feature allows intra-operative patient registration within seconds.

Based on BrainLAB’s proven VectorVision Software, intra-operative navigation is accurate and user-friendly. iPlan® extends BrainSUITE iCT beyond the physical operating room. It provides easy-to-use surgical planning features, improving the quality of intra-operative data.

BrainSUITE® Data Billboard

The BrainSUITE Data Billboard LCD consists of 3x57' in-wall integrated monitors. It allows the display of patient data from different sources in extra-large size and full HD resolution to the entire OR team. This improves the surgical decision making process and facilitates staff training

Siemens CT scanner with Sliding Gantry 

The Siemens CT scanner with Sliding Gantry provides excellent intra-operative imaging. It meets the most stringent criteria for diagnostic imaging and opens the gateway to new research capabilities.

BrainSUITE iCT features either the SOMATOM Sensation Open with a gantry aperture expanded to 82 cm or the SOMATOM Emotion 6 with collimation as thin as 6 x 0.5.

Numerous software features help minimize radiation exposure, shorten examination and reduce breath-hold times while maintaining excellent image quality.
 

OR Table

The carbon fiber OR Table with radiolucent table top provides easy and comfortable patient positioning. The table system includes a standard modular operating table incorporating specially designed modules.

Alternatively, the operating table may be used with an optional one-piece radiolucent table top. The tables are interchangeable, giving the surgeon flexibility to exchange them based on patient positioning and procedures.

For intra-operative imaging the CT travels over the table and patient to perform a scan in the desired area. Consequently, the patient monitoring and anesthesia equipment do not have to be moved, significantly improving patient safety and workflow optimization.

BrainSUITE® NET

BrainSUITE NET is the IT hardware and software backbone of the BrainSUITE integrated operating room. It acts as the central information hub and control center for the surgeon, connecting patient data, imaging and documentation means. The system is controlled through either single or multiple central touch screens, including the VectorVision sky or wall mounted units. BrainSUITE NET integrates the hospital’s PACS, DICOM images, navigation, planning data and live video inputs through one central source.
