Philips unveiled IntelliSpace, the new name for its portfolio of healthcare informatics and patient monitoring solutions. The IntelliSpace family brings together Philips industry-leading solutions that offer detailed, useful clinical information to caregivers.

Philips understands the challenges facing health IT professionals, including the proliferation of clinical data and the need to increase efficiency. With its thoughtful clinical information solutions, the IntelliSpace portfolio is designed to help clinicians simplify workflow, improve financial outcomes and enhance patient care.

Solutions will be rebranded under new IntelliSpace nomenclature starting in 2010, and the new identity will continue to expand as Philips delivers significant new functionality to customers.

Interoperability

Empowering clinicians in their decision making

Because data moves between multiple core systems in all forms, critical patient information can be lost, misplaced, or even misread without the proper IT support. That’s why hospital IT professionals need ways to organize and deliver that information efficiently, accurately and in ways that complement the hospital’s health IT investments. That’s why Philips clinical informatics and patient care solutions integrate and interoperate with EMRs, EHRs and HIS.

The Healthcare Informatics portfolio makes it easy to share info across the enterprise for multi disciplinary team patient management.

Synergy through seamless data transformation

Because our best-in-class systems acquire data, we can do something fundamentally smart with it:

  1. Analyze – combining existing information intelligently with clinical and point of care data
  2. Interpret – historical and clinically rich and validated data to provide context
  3. Present – deliver information when, where, and how it is most useful

By acquiring, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data we support clinical decision making, anytime, anywhere.  In this way we provide administrators, clinicians, and patients with clinical knowledge that is intelligently filtered and presented at appropriate times to enhance the quality of care and improve financial outcomes.
