Astralite HD-LED® retains all the unique features of the Astralite Halogen such as the large movement range and anti-microbial technology moulded in the lamp head, but also uses the latest LED technology to provide the following:

Full Spectrum Colour Rendition

The first LED lighting with near perfect colour rendition across the full visible spectrum. This reduces eye strain and enables small differences in the tissue to be distinguised easily.

Fat Beam Illumination

Large, adjustable light beams allow for uniformed vision and improved light coverage in the desired areas.

Red Balance Control

Red balance enhancement compensates for our natural weakness in distinguishing shades of red for optimum visualisation of red tissues.

Cold Light

LED's avoid tissue damage by emitting "Cold Light" which contains no infra red rays.

Long Life

Life of LED's is around 30,000 hours which would be the lifetime of the product.

Efficiency

Using a mere 30W at full power Astralite HD-LED offers a three times power reduction over the equivalent tungsten halogen version. This huge increase in efficiency ensures that that product is both economical and environmentally friendly.
