Features:
Single patient record across regions, facilities and departments
IMPAX Data Center creates a true longitudinal patient-imaging record by integrating and linking multi-facility, multi-departmental and multi-specialty imaging data. To unify the patient record across many entities, IMPAX Data Center uses native, built-in support for integration to an enterprise master patient index (MPI) using standard IHE PIX (Patient Identifier Cross Referencing). IMPAX Data Center uses the MPI information to match patient imaging and report data across multiple ID domains. It provides the complete patient record, transparently, every time.
Leave no data behind
IMPAX Data Center can store an extremely wide variety of DICOM 3.0 medical images and diagnostic results, including DICOM-encapsulated images, reports, waveforms video and PDF's from a wide range of general data type categories. It supports most data file-formats used in medical imaging today.
Consolidate and share data across PACS
IMPAX Data Center is a PACS vendor-neutral archive, designed around IHE, DICOM 3.0 and HL7 standards. You can share data across regional hospitals, whether they have disparate or similar PACS solutions. Patient care is enhanced because all the PACS solutions collectively build and share a single central archive of data that provides a more complete historical view of the patient's history.
End data migrations
IMPAX Data Center takes ownership of the long-term patient imaging record, in a final, centralized storage location. When you replace a departmental imaging system with a DICOM 3.0-based system, there is no need to include a dedicated, long-term archive. The new system can also be integrated with IMPAX Data Center, in order to store new studies and access the complete historical patient imaging record. Your departments will no longer be forced through expensive and time-consuming data migrations.
