APHM International Healthcare Conference & Exhibition 2011 6 – 8 July 2011, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

This year, the 19th in the annual series of conferences & exhibitions organised by the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia, will showcase the role of Health within Malaysia's Economic Transformation Programme or ETP. For two full months last year, Malaysia embarked on a unique programme called 'NKEA Labs' bringing together participants from private industry and public sector ministries and agencies, to identify opportunities to grow Malaysia's economy.

Health was one of the 12 National Key Economic Areas identified as having the potential to contribute significantly to our nation's economic agenda: to grow our economy at a sustainable rate over the next 10 years, whilst providing opportunities for employment and pushing Malaysia up the value chain.

APHM 2011 brings you a combination of our more traditional subject matters of clinical governance, statutory updates (particularly with respect to three new laws involving medical devices, personal data protection and competition) as well as an overview of the 'EPPs' or 'Entry Point Projects' within the Health NKEA - namely Pharmaceuticals, Clinical Research, Health Travel, Diagnostic Services Nexus and the Health Metropolis. Each of these will run as concurrent sessions in addition to a full three-day main conference plus two-day nursing conference.

Each day is separately bookable or register for special 3 day package:-

  • 6 – 8 July : APHM International Healthcare Conference
  • 6 & 7 July : Clinical Research Malaysia
  • 6 July : Health Metropolis Symposium
  • 6 & 7 July : APHM International Nursing Conference
  • 8 July : Malaysian Health Travel
  • 8 July : e-Health EPP Diagnostic Services Nexus
