The 14th SEACare held in late March, closed after a highly successful three days of quality visitors and endusers.
SEACare, SE-Asia’s most established trade show for the healthcare industry attracted over 150 exhibitors and about 3000 regional visitors. The last day feedback from the majority of the exhibitors was - ‘well organized’ and ‘good quality contacts’. While, in many cases, some even returned a ‘we’ll be back next year.‘
The SE-Asian Markets, are the fastest growing in terms of imports for medical devices, equipment and disposables. Powered by higher spending by governments and competition for the international medical tourism revenue - Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand the main contenders. While the huge Indonesian Market has strong future potential.
SEACare is also the only event that bills itself as the total healthcare event with a product profile extending to Rehabilitation, Medical Devices, Laboratory, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Beauty.

Regional Coverage
Visitor wise, the Show concentrates on providing blanket coverage of Malaysia and Singapore and extends invitations to distributors from Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. The venue, Kuala Lumpur, benefits from its natural position at the heart of SE-Asia.
But additionally, with its strong cultural links with Singapore and Indonesia - it is the natural meeting place for trade and business events. And when it comes to cost and smooth operations - Kuala Lumpur is the best possible location in SE-Asia.

The main focus of the event is to assist manufacturers locate distributors from the surrounding region. However, the large numbers of officials and end-users provides an excellent opporunity to network with the decision makers.

Not just a trade show - since the first event, a continuous effort has been
made to steadily develop a series of relevant concurrent events to attract both the end-users and other decision makers. And, today the networking events, seminars-workshops and VIP Tours are a regular and important part of the Show.
An additional component has been the competency workshops, for healthcare providers, such as the CPR Work Shops for front line medical staff. These have proved extremely popular and with exhibitors showcasing emergency medical equipment.

This year saw the strongest ever participation by exhibitors from PR China in SE-Asia. They were also joined by exhibitors from the USA, Germany,Taiwan and Malaysia.
