On March 11th & 12th 2013, idsMED held its first & sixth annual Healthcare Forum in Malaysia & Singapore respectively. In Malaysia, the event was held at the Grand Hyatt, whilst in Singapore it was held at the award winning Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
This was a very historic event for Singapore, with a record high of nearly 600 people in attendance.
As the Groups’s first regional idsMED Healthcare Forum, there was a lot of team work and sharing of best practices in order to align our organization for this very important event. Reinforcing the regional solidarity of the event, both our Group Managing Director and Regional Managing Director were in attendance.
Distinguished guests from every hospital and major medical organization in Singapore were in attendance.
Our highly distinguished international speakers hailed from every corner of the globe, including the United States, Switzerland, Japan, Korea and China.
Along with our diverse group of international speakers, guests were treated to an additional open forum on Specialist Medicine by five distinguished medical specialist from 65doctors.com.
The four major tracks covered in this convention were Critical Care, Elderly Care, Infection Control and Surgical. On top of the extensive lectures, there were hands-on demonstrations in full hospital setups. A wide variety of topics were covered & just to name a few, topics like, European norms within the Central Supply Departments, Sharp Injury prevention, Glove breach risk prevention, Techniques for reducing elderly caregivers' burden, and Care of Chemotherapy Patients were delivered.
Our Speakers credibility, appropriateness of lecture has for the 1st time enabled us to gain approval from the Singapore Nursing Association & all registered Nurses were able to register for CNE points for their attendance & participation.
IdsMED Healthcare Forum 2013 came to a final close at 5:30pm amid much praise and departing guests were already asking dates of the next Educational Forum.
