INDOMEDICA EXPO – The 3rd International Exhibition on Medical, Dental & Hospital Equipments, Medicine, Health Care, Supplies and Services, was successfully held by Krista Exhibitions (PT. Kristamedia Pratama). With support from Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), INDOMEDICA EXPO was officially held on May 27-30, 2010 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Indonesia. The success of this exhibition was marked by the total visitors which achieve the number of 5.087, consist of 4.746 local visitors and 341 foreign visitors also 91 exhibitors which consist 28 foreign exhibitors (China, Italia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, USA) and 63 local visitors from many countries of Indonesia. Some of the exhibitors are Perhimpunan Dokter Akupuntur Medik Indonesia (HIDAMI), PT. Kalbe Farma, PT. Sido Muncul, PT. Melilea International Indonesia, Naturo Health International, HLL Lifecare Limited, Medical-Latex (DUA) SDN BHD, Contec Medical System, Bioniva Wellness International SDN BHD, and others.
The opening of INDOMEDICA EXPO was officially signed on May 27, 2010 by cutting a ribbon by Ministry of Health of Indonesia, Dr. Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih, MPH, Chairman of IDI, Dr. Priyo Sidipratomo Sp Rad and Director of PT. Kristamedia Pratama, Mr. Daud Salim. Then the event was continue with seminar and workshop that hosted by IDI. The topic of the seminar is “Referral-Based Health Care Systems With Supported National Health Insurance System To Support Health Services In a Dignified” and topics of workshop were, “Medical Audit Training in Hospital”, and “Health Law Training.”
INDOMEDICA EXPO received good respond from visitors and exhibitors. One of the local visitors says, “INDOMEDICA EXPO is awesome! There’s lot of new things that we can get!” There were also a comment from Unimed Healthcare PTE LTD, one of INDOMEDICA exhibitors, “It’s been quiet good, well attended by doctor, user & decision maker!”
This exhibition was display a creation from all the parties that involved in development, medical and health services. Those related parties were medical associations which stand under IDI, Medical Faculty, Hospital, Pharmacy and Health Equipment Company, digital and printed publication (magazine, book). All these things were provided by Krista Exhibitions for the good purposes. Mr. Daud Salim, Director of Krista Exhibitions says, “Through this exhibition, we would like to show the latest medical technology in Indonesia and to proof that we able to give the trust to the public.”
Next INDOMEDICA EXPO will be held again on May 26-29, 2011 at Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Indonesia.
