Kuala Lumpur-Pursuant to Faber’s announcement dated 25 February 2013 to Bursa Malaysia in relation to its wholly
-owned subsidiary,Faber MediServe Sdn Bhd’s (“FMS”)acquisition of Segi Operasi Sdn Bhd (“SOSB”) and Segi Kirana Sdn Bhd (“SKSB”) to facilitate the formation of a new consortium company in Sabah and Sarawak respectively,
FMS has today entered into Joint Venture Agreements with the respective JV partners through a JVA Signing Ceremony
held in Kuala Lumpur.

Details of the JV companies are:

The JVAs are to regulate the relationship of the JVA partners with each other as shareholders of SSB in Sabah Zone and OMSB in Sarawak Zone respectively. The JVAs also aim to govern the management and operations of SSB and OMSB
in the provision of HSS to the hospitals operated by MOH throughout the states in Sabah and Sarawak respectively.
The above JVAs also govern the relationship of SSB and OMSB with FMS as the holder of the current HSS concession in Sabah and Sarawak.
