KUANTAN: Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) patients here can take their medicine hassle-free when the hospital opens its drive-through counters next month.
State health director Dr Norhizan Ismail said with the drive-through counters, patients no longer need to look for parking lots or queue up at the dispensary.
"We will collect the telephone numbers and other details of those interested. They can later call the hospital to inform when they will come to collect their medicine at the drive-through counters.
"The new service can also help free up the normally-congested parking lots at HTAA. It will also help our patients who are busy with work and their families."
Dr Norhizan said the service was suitable for those who required continuous supply of medication.
He said HTAA had no problems in implementing the drive-through plan as the hospital had adequate supply of medicine.
