In response to C21TV's inquiry into the necessity for transitional measures taken to address the shortcomings present within the current system, especially pertaining to healthcare delivery and outcome management, the honorable Minister has firmly given his mandate to the assigned parties within the Ministry to work closely with the relevant stakeholders in the field, towards realizing the Process Re-Engineering drive - which is the 2nd of 4 Main Drives slated for 2014 under the Malaysia Health Transformation Plan (spearheaded by the MOH).
This bold initiative announced by the Health Minister in this special Press Conference lays out much awaited high level initiatives, incorporating the Human Resources Master Plan and the Medical Infrastructure Master Plan that promises a rapid improvement in primary care and promoting preventive medicine across the medical service line.
Other key parameters include the maximization of service outputs and optimized delivery of these services under the Medical Process Re-Engineering Drive within the same Transformation Plan framework.
