The modern new developed pfm Waterbath 1000 offers you the possibility of stretching paraffin sections to be used in histological routine, research and industry labatories. 

The housing of the pfm Waterbath 1000 is made from one block of aluminium. The surface is clear anodised, and is therfore easy to clean. The water tank is also made entirely of aluminium, and is black anodised. 

The water tank additionally has a 50-mm-wide rim, and thus allows conventient and sufficient storage space for microscope slides around the entire water tank area. 

A clearly laid out keypad with a digital display at the front of the pfm Waterbath 1000 informs the user about the current settings. The temperature is also controlled electronically via the operator keyboard to an accuracy of +/- 1°C. 

The pre-selected operating temperature is attained approx. 3 min. after switching the instrument on. 

In addition to an overheating protection device and a device for controlling the minimum water level, the waterbath also has a triple illumination feature. The surface of the water can optionally be illuminated with white, blue or blue/white non-dazzling light. 

On the self on the rear right rim, there is blue marking to show where to empty the water. 

The main power connection is located inside the housing, and is protected from any water splashes.
