THE STAR Health Fair 2014 is back and more than 40 exhibitors attended a briefing on the event in Menara Star recently.

The exhibitors present included Basic Health & Beauty Sdn Bhd, Bio-Life Marketing Sdn Bhd, Health Innovations Sdn Bhd, Legosan (M) Sdn Bhd, National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), My Flex Health Group Sdn Bhd and Oni Global (M) Sdn Bhd.

Non-governmental organisations participating in the event, such as Befrienders KL, Make-A-Wish Malaysia and Malayan Tiger Conservation (MyCat), also sent representatives to the event.

The health fair will take place from April 11 to 13 in the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. Admission is free.

In conjunction with the fair, the organisers are bringing back the Live Great Challenge, which will take place in Hall 3 during the fair.

The challenge is a six-stop obstacle course that includes the Vertical Wall, Pallet Haven, Incline Wall and the Web of Rope.

Contestants who complete the course in the fastest time over the three days stand a chance to take home RM1,500, RM1,000 and RM500.

Entry is free but participation is in pairs of either single or mixed gender and participants must be 16 years old and above.

There will also be a mini version for children aged 7 to 15 years.

The theme of this year’s fair is “Let’s Live Great!” to inspire Malaysians to lead a healthy lifestyle by being physically and mentally fit.
