With many years experience in this market, Mediplas Managing Director Mr. Ian Bird decided that Malaysia was in an excellent position to distribute efficiently and effectively to the international markets. 

The Mediplas team is constantly developing new innovative products to assist in lowering the cost and improving standards in the Hospital and Healthcare Industry. With a full range of components and Products ranging from oxygen therapy cannulas to suction tubing and recently added production line on corrugated tubing allowing Mediplas to produce high quality respiratory and Anesthetic circuits

Within the first 2 years, Mediplas have penetrated the Pacific, European and Middle East markets following exhibition participation at Medica Germany and Arab Health in Dubai UAE.

With more than 7 new products to be released over the next 6 months Mediplas is very confident that the growth will meet expectations and expand further into world markets.

One of the Mediplas star lines is the newly designed Duoscope that has revolutionized emergency intubation in the transport areas by allowing two size illumination blades from the one apparatus thus allowing intubation to different size patients with the one device along with massive weight reduction for transport areas like flying doctor services etc… The Duoscope has a worldwide patent and has the CE mark approval and has already been purchased by leading country military forces.
