Another Malaysian company has made it into the Forbes Asia’s Fabulous 50 list this year.
IHH Healthcare Bhd, a private-hospital operator, joined the ranks of SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd, an oil and gas services and solutions provider, to bring the total to two Malaysian companies in the list this year, Forbes Media, the publisher of Forbes Asia, said.
SapuraKencana was also selected to join the Forbes Asia’s Fabulous 50 list last year.
IHH Healthcare has built a diversified portfolio of assets as part of its on-going transformation into a global media, branding and technology company, Forbes Media said in a statement today.
The Fabulous 50 companies are selected from a pool of 1,300 publicly listed companies in the region with at least US$3 billion (RM9.5 billion) in annual revenue or market capitalisation.
Companies are analysed based on a series of performance measures, including revenue, profits, return on capital, share-price movements and outlook.
The list excludes companies with too much debt or where the government owns at least half of the shares.
