KUALA LUMPUR - MAA Takaful Bhd recently unveiled a new comprehensive medical plan called Medica2015 that caters to different lifestyles and needs.

MAA Takaful family division executive vice-president Saiful Nizam Esahak said Medica2015 was “very unique” as it had no lifetime limit and a higher age entry of up to 65 years old.

“Medica2015 is a comprehensive hospitalisation and surgical plan with one of the highest annual limits,” he said.

It offers an added value of 20 per cent “no claim discount” on annual contribution for the following year if no medical claims are made .  

It also provides other new dynamic features such as No co-Takaful for all ages, second medical opinion, preferred panel hospitals and funeral expense of RM5,000.

In addition, Medica2015 offers a guaranteed renewal up to 80 years old with six comprehensive plans to choose from.  

Saiful Nizam noted that medical costs had always been a major concern as illnesses could strike anyone at any time.

“It’s an unpredictable condition of life that is made more troubling by the fact that the cost of medical coverage is on the rise.

“Medical coverage costs money but by not having it, it could cost even more.
