TOPVISION Eye Specialist Berhad has opened its seventh centre in Johor Baru.

Located at 1Tebrau, Topvision’s latest ambulatory care eye specialist centre provides medical and surgical treatment for various eye problems such as cataract, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma-related conditions.

Topvision Eye Specialist Centre Johor Baru prides itself as a glaucoma subspecialty hub in the southern region.

Glaucoma patients can now seek non-invasive laser treatment or advanced eye surgery such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and glaucoma tube shunt implant.

The centre is fully equipped with an operating theatre and a dedicated day-care facility.

Its resident specialist is Dr Lim Ching Wei, a consultant ophthalmologist with a subspecialty in glaucoma.

He previously served at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore from 2015 to 2016 and was accredited as a glaucoma subspecialist by the Health Ministry in 2017.

Dr Lim also headed the ophthalmology department and was a director of glaucoma service at Sarawak General Hospital.
