Zephyr Technology, developers of Physiological Status Monitoring (PSM) solutions for the First Responder and Defense communities, announces that the Motorola Solutions business of Motorola, Inc. has certified Zephyr’s PSM solution for the XTS® Series Tactical Radio.

PSM monitors and wirelessly transmits vital signs information such as heart rate, breathing rate and activity level. The First Responder simply wears Zephyr’s BioHarnessTM which transmits the data through Bluetooth to existing Motorola XTS Radios.  These radios send the information back to the command center for display and analysis on Zephyr’s OmniSenseTM software suite.  Up to 64 people can be monitored by a single application.
