18th February 2009, Kuala Lumpur – The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers held its inaugural Medical Industry Networking Meeting in its headquarter today at Wisma FMM. The meeting was chaired by Datuk Mustafa Mansur, the President of FMM, and attended by many veterans of the medical and healthcare industries. Invited VIPs include Encik Baharudin Bin Monshie, former Principal Private Secretary to the Deputy Minister of Health, accompanied by representative from Malaysia GLC, Pharmaniaga.

Both Datuk Mustafa Mansur and Encik Baharudin gave their inspiring speeches that gained unanimous support to establish the proposed Medical Supplies Industry Group, under the aegis and constitution of FMM.

A detailed coverage of this auspicious occasion was covered by the chief editor of Infinity 21 and will be published in its Cover Story in the next issue of the Medical News which will be launched during first week of March.

The date of next meeting is confirmed to be held on the 5th March 2009, and more industry players within the medical sectors are expected to attend. A Pro-Tem Committee will be established to discuss the roadmap for the proposed FMM Medical Supplies Industry Group during the forthcoming meeting.
